The Toolbar Explained

This Help File will explain the toolbar, navigation and reader features & functionality. We will cover the zoom tool, page turning, sharing, search and other useful features and setting. Please note that these tools are optional and each publisher might have decided to include or exclude some of the tools, therefore not all Digital Publication will work the same.

Page Turning and Navigation

To page through a Digital Publication one can use the top navigation forward and back buttons. Paging this way doesn't include page animation for faster page turning. By clicking on the bottom corners of each page, the page will turn using animation to provide a more realistic magazine paging experience. Other ways to navigate through a Digital Publication is by way of entering a page number in the text field as per above "6 - 7" or by using the contents tab where you will find all the pages numbered and linked to the relevant pages. The search results is also linked and will take you to the required pages.

In-Publication & Cross Publication Search

Enter a keyword and press go, the search engine will scan through the content of the publication and present you with the results. The results. will be link to the relevant page and once you click and visit that page, the keyword will be highlighted for easy finding. Cross Publication search works the same way, but the results. are from all publication in that stable or under that title and not only the issue you are viewing.

Zoom

We have implemented two zoom functions. The first zoom button will zoom in and view only one page at a time and will stretch the current page you are on to fit to the width of the window / screen and you can scroll up and down using the mouse. The second zoom button will zoom the complete publication and allow you to set the preferred zoom level, you can view the page by clicking and dragging the page around the screen.

Notes, Bookmarks and Printing

These tools will enable you to highlight important sections, make notes or add bookmarks for future reference. You can also print all or selected pages.

Sharing and Social Networks

The sharing tool allow a user to quickly submit and share the publication on social networks. Send to a friend via email can also be included in this tool.

Other Setting

We have various other tools and setting available for: publication downloading, auto presentation, shopping carts, content menus, digital rights management, etc.
