What is a Digital Publication?

A Digital Publication is an Interactive 3D Page Turning replication of your Printed Media.
Think of it as an enhanced PDF than now contains Rick Media Content which is presented in the way you will view a normal printed Magazine. It can also be described as an environmentally friendly, cost effective Publishing and Distribution alternative to print media. Also called and known as: eBooks (Electronic Book), eZines (Electronic Magazines), DigiMag (Digital Magazines), etc.

What Software, Operating System or Computer does one need, to view a Digital Publication?

Our Digital Editions are streamed to the reader in much the same way as web pages are viewed.
Although Macromedia Flash Player is required, it comes pre-installed on more that 95% of all
computer systems. If you do not already have Macromedia Flash Player installed on your system,
you could get the latest available version for free from Adobe. Green Leaf Media Digital Editions
are designed to be universally available and will work on PC & Mac Systems and their various
Operating Systems and Browser configuration. Our Publications gather this information
from your system and re-structure itself accordingly.

Are there any page limits to the Free Preview Edition I can create?

No, we will produce your entire Publication, regardless of size, so you can experience
our Service, Quality, Features and Benefits, for yourself. If you haven't already read our features list,

Is there a limit to how long I can keep my Free Preview Edition/s?

The preview edition will be available to you for a whole week (7 Days) or 60 views. This should give
you enough time to discuss your digital edition internally, show any external advertisers and make a decision on whether you would like it to go live. In other words ... it is only there for testing, fine-tuning and proofing purposes. Please do not make this URL link available on your website as a permanent
link as the final URL will change once your Publication is launched on our Global Server Network.

Can I change or amend my digital edition once it goes live?

Although we can make changes on your Live Publication, we would really like you to make the most
of the free preview and use this preview to make all the final changes ... because it's free. Once the Publication goes Live ... there will be costs involved to change that one page and re-submit your
edition to our Global Server Network.

Why do you host my Digital Editions ... can I host it myself?

Yes, you can host it yourself if you don't mind paying for the bandwidth. The only reason why we at
Green Leaf Media host your Publications is to ensure maximum security and global distribution
through our Global Server Network, the Limelight Content Delivery Network. We also leverage
Limelight's Global Network of Backbone Servers to ensure that your content is not exposed to a
single point of failure, meaning 100% up-time, support and security for your digital editions,
24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Secondly: The Build-in Statistics-Reporting package will not operate accurately outside our system.
Gathering data for the statistics package requires feedback to our servers from wherever the digital edition is read in the world.

We can not guarantee security, page delivery speeds and up-time if our digital editions are not hosted
by ourselves. There's also a risk of crashing smaller servers if your Publication receives a large volume
of traffic. In addition, the software is upgraded from time to time. This is a seamless operation on our
servers but potentially problematic if hosting is outside of our control.

You can however still download and distribute your Publication on CD, or just file it for Archiving purposes.

Can digital editions be included in ABC and BPA circulation figures?

Yes, since December 2006, digital editions have been included in ABC circulation figures.
Also, the BPA Worldwide Consumer Magazine Rules have been amended, allowing digital editions
to be included in BPA circulation figures. Please Note: These are the International Standards, I'm not sure if the guys in SA has caught on to this yet. Please let me know if you are working for them and whether Digital Publications are finally accepted or not. mail me
