Ecocentric Magazine

Ecocentric Magazine is the first 100% carbon neutral, interactive, rich media, digital “green” lifestyle magazine in South Africa. The magazine is published by Green Leaf Media (Pty) Ltd.

It is our aim to assist organizations, fund managers and government with their efforts to make the general public more aware of their efforts to address climate change and the general state of the environment. We believe that our readers do want to make a difference but that they are not always aware of how to make a contribution. By addressing lifestyle, conservation and “green” issues in one magazine, the reader is lead from a field of interest into awareness of the contribution that they can make. They are guided in the right direction from a lifestyle point of view to a “green” conscious mindset. We want people to make a commitment to change – for them to realise that they do not necessary need to plant forests, feed the nation or save the whale ... but by looking at themselves and starting at home.

We also want to expose our readers to the organisations and people that make a difference – to ensure that they make informed decisions of where to put their buying power to support what they believe in.
